Amadeus

Cody lead the show as Mozart

The year is 1781, and Vienna's world of music is ruled by the precise and pedantic composer Antonio Salieri. Then the famous Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart arrives, throwing Salieri's predictable court life into chaos. At first, Mozart's genius fills Salieri with awe, but that awe quickly turns to a poisonous jealousy.  Salieri must decide how far he will go to protect the world he has created and to destroy the man who is a constant reminder of the artist he will never be.

Praise for Amadeus

Sloan, as Mozart, is so likeable, so cute, so refreshingly in the moment that even when he is being alarmingly irrepressible you can’t help but root for him. His boyish attachment to his Papa, his wife…ultimately, Salieri, is guileless and touching.”

- Michele Markarian, The Theater Mirror (2016)

“[Sloan] smoothly balances Mozart’s epithet-rich earthiness, his deep caring for his wife Constanze Weber and loner demeanor as his life grows more challenging… [and] sharply catches his child mirth and delight.”

-MySouthEnd (2016)

“Amadeus is an ‘exceptionally outstanding event… that engages from start to finish…”

“Mozart [is] brilliantly played by Cody Sloan…”

- Boston and Beyond (2016)

“The strength of the show is the performances by its central characters - Matthew Zahnzinger as Salieri and Cody Sloan as Mozart….intelligent and subtle performances.”

- Clint Campbell, Edge Media Network (2016)
