Coaching

Acting Coaching services that
inspire & challenge

No matter where you are in your journey, having one-on-one coaching can make all the difference! I’m so grateful for the classical training I’ve received, and one of the best things is being able to pass on those skills and experience to my students.

I’ve supported a huge variety of students with different interests, goals, skill levels, and access needs - from ages 5-50, students auditioning for MFA and BFA programs, professional poets, sales professionals, folks coming to acting for the very first time, professional actors working on self tapes, folks with varied auditory and social processing skills, and more! I believe deeply in meeting each unique person where you’re at, giving you the skills you need to reach your goals, and lifting up your authentic self.

  • Cody is an absolutely incredible Coach! He is extremely thorough, patient, and a great teacher. He knows exactly how to break down complicated dialects and teach them in bite size, easy to understand sections. I have been doing dialect coaching with Cody and he creates detailed lesson plans for each dialect, along with resources I can use outside of class and breakdowns of individual sounds within each dialect! I can’t recommend his coaching enough! If you want to learn dialects or learn anything about acting from a seasoned pro - look no further!

    Hadley Sachs, Actor

  • Cody combines high-level technical skills with a deep sensitivity to your needs. Just one session helped me to see my art in new ways and gave me tools I will be able to use on my own. But even beyond that, his presence is a profoundly human gift. He creates a space in which you are seen and supported in being vulnerable and taking risks even as he helps you locate areas for growth. As someone who hires teachers, I wish I could fill my school with teachers like him!

Emma Wynn, Poet and Instructor in History, Philosophy and Religion at the Hotchkiss School

As we began notes and adjustments Cody gave me clear and helpful guidance which immediately improved my performance and confidence when leaving the lesson. Garionna J, Voice Student

  • I messaged before the group lesson, just to let him know a little bit about my children. My goodness, when he started the group lesson, he was so caring, told them about himself, asked questions that sparked something in them! I hadn't seen them that excited in years! I had to turn my zoom camera & mic off because I began to cry. They are so excited to learn more and more. I just want to say, "Thank you.”

Latasha P, Mother of Public Speaking Students

  • Nothing but good things to say about Cody! We explained what specific areas our son was looking to improve in, and he couldn’t have been more patient, kind and thorough. He gave great practical advice and direction and was always very encouraging and positive. Our son’s confidence has definitely improved.

Jill C, Mother of Public Speaking Student

  • Beyond thankful and happy we found Cody, he is an amazing coach! His technique, compassion, his skill in bringing the best out of you and his professionalism is truly one of a kind. Just after my son's first lesson, he already felt more confident and learned so much. After only a couple more lessons it was time for my son's musical theater performance and he received so many compliments and was told it was was his best performance. My son's confidence has improved so much and he has learned so much. He is beyond excited to take more lessons with Cody. Thank you so much Cody!

Ivette S, Mother of Acting Student

  • Cody has been excellent to work with. I knew practically nothing about the voice acting industry aside from it existed and he's been very forthcoming with general information as well as explaining the nuances of each facet we've covered so far. He's skilled at giving constructive feedback and coaching and being very encouraging really taking the time to build my confidence. If you're looking for an exceptional guide to voice over work Cody should be a top choice.
